Atlanta Personal Injury Law Group has expanded its team with the addition of new associate attorney, Anita Lamar.
Ms. Lamar practices in the areas of Personal Injury Law and Domestic Law with a concentration in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, medical malpractice and product liability. Prior to joining Atlanta Personal Injury Law Group, she worked as a solo practitioner with Lamar Law Office in Atlanta.

Ms. Lamar is a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of West Georgia. After graduating from UWG, Anita obtained her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she also received several academic awards and graduated in the top fourth of her class. Ms. Lamar’s passion to help individuals and families is what drew her back to the Atlanta area.
Anita Lamar is the Vice President of Henry County Bar Association. She is an active member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA), the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), and the Gate City Bar Association. Anita also volunteers with the Georgia Legal Services Program and the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. The American Institute of Family Law Attorneys previously named Ms. Lamar one of its “10 Best in Client Satisfaction.”
In addition to her professional accolades, Anita is a proud participant in her community as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. She is a regular contributor to the National Action Network’s monthly legal clinics and has presented at B.I.L.L.I.E., a charity that works to reduce generational poverty among low to middle-income neighborhoods.
