Associate Attorney
Elizabeth Foley
Elizabeth Foley, a native of Atlanta, harbored aspirations of becoming an attorney from an early age, a calling she recognized at the tender age of nine. Her journey to legal prominence commenced during her fourth-grade years at Venetian Hills Elementary School in Southwest Atlanta when she was affectionately known as the “silent killer” within the school’s Mock Trial Team. It was at this juncture that Elizabeth’s parents, mentors, and teachers recognized her latent potential in the realms of public speaking and leadership.
Elizabeth’s academic pursuits led her to attain a degree in Journalism, with a specialized focus on Public Relations, from Georgia State University. She further broadened her horizons by pursuing a minor in Spanish at the Universidad de Granada in Spain, demonstrating her commitment to linguistic diversity. Post-graduation, she embarked on her legal education journey at the Florida Coastal School of Law, and studied trial practice and made a noteworthy mark as a semi-finalist in Mock Trial competitions. Her academic endeavors also encompassed the study of transactional and business law, as well as estate planning. Elizabeth’s unwavering dedication bore fruit when she graduated in December 2017 and subsequently acquired her Georgia bar license in 2018.
During a significant period of her career, Elizabeth served as a prosecutor for the State of New Mexico for 3.5 years, where she first-chaired over 30 trials in District Court. It was in this role that her passion for advocating on behalf of victims of property and bodily crimes took root. Subsequently, Elizabeth transitioned into civil law, undertaking the role of an Insurance Defense attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. However, her commitment to championing the rights of victims in cases involving negligent acts of tortfeasors remained unshakeable. At Atlanta Personal Injury Law Group, Elizabeth stands resolute in her dedication to advocating for individuals affected by motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites.
Beyond the courtroom, Elizabeth’s interests extend to enjoying quality time with her family, often seen at sporting events passionately cheering for the Atlanta Falcons and Hawks. She also takes delight in soaking up the sun on the picturesque beaches of Destin, Florida.
