#3 You Haven't Told The Insurance Company That Your Live-In Boyfriend/Girlfriend Drives Your Car
The insurance company cannot appropriately charge you unless it knows how many licensed drivers live in your house. So, if your boyfriend or girlfriend has moved in with you, and you expect that they will be driving your car, you need to let your insurance provider know that. Permissive drives are fine, and that is a separate issue. But if your significant other crashes your car and the insurance company finds out after the fact that they are a live-in significant other, the insurance company could deny your claim. The company could also ask you to pay back premiums based on the additional driver in your household.
