#5: You are using your personal vehicle for work deliveries, but only have personal auto insurance
If you are using your personal vehicle to deliver items such as pizza, packages, newspapers, medical supplies or other items, your automobile insurance company will not likely cover you for any damages to the vehicle. The company may also cancel your personal auto policy altogether.
Instead of a personal auto insurance plan, consider changing to a business-use or a commercial car insurance policy. You can also ask your employer what auto insurance options they offer to employees.
